About the Program
Parents are the teachers of their children. Families are important.

Do you want to support your child's learning? Would you like to improve your parenting skills? Learn how you can teach your child to be an effective learner.

Whether you are you interested in a special aspect of parenting, need specialized information regarding specific concerns about your child, or just want to sharpen your parenting skills, we will help you become the parent you wish to be.

We provide you with guidance from a professional parent educator, in an environment designed for parents to share and exchange information with each other. Many formats are available including classes for parents and their children, forums for parents and caregivers, and classes to meet Court ordered requirements.

Understand how your children learn. We will help you develop new ways of communicating so you can create harmonious relationships with your children.

As the oldest public school Department of Parenting and Family Education in the United States, we have been serving the community for over 75 years.
